We have car parks at both sites and our buildings are friendly towards those of our patients who have a disability including automatic doors at the main entrance and disabled toilet facilities.

We also have baby changing and feed rooms as well as a wheelchair which is available for use on request.

There are dedicated parking facilities for the disabled and young families.

Within our waiting area at Bilborough Medical Centre there is a designated children’s play area.

Bilborough Medical Centre is very well served by public transport; it is located behind the ‘Bracebridge Drive Shops‘ bus stop (on the NCT Pink 28, NCT Orange 35 and L4 LocalLink routes).

The Urgent Care Centre provides access to assessment and treatment if you need help with a health problem that is urgent, but not life-threatening.

This is a walk-in service, open between 7am and 7pm, 365 days a year, with no appointment needed.
You can call 0115 883 8500 for directions, current waiting times or to make an appointment for appointment based services, healthcare advice cannot be given out over the telephone.

The centre offers assessment and treatment for health conditions, e.g:
– Under 2s – please contact 111 for advice on the best service available for you
– Minor burns or scalds
– Minor head injury with no loss of consciousness
– Skin infections or animal bites
– Suspected broken bones, sprains & strains (X-ray service available)
– Eye infections or minor eye injuries

The centre is not appropriate for:
– Non-urgent treatment that could be treated by your GP
– Routine services such as blood tests or wound dressing / suture removal

This GP practice is offering evening and weekend appointments – either at this practice, or another NHS practice nearby. Appointments are available with a range of clinicians depending on your needs. Please speak to our reception team for more information, or to book an evening or weekend appointment.  

Additional appointments are available: 
Monday – Friday: 6.30 pm – 8pm 
Saturday:  9am – 5pm 
Sunday: CLOSED

This is not a walk-in service; appointments are needed and can be booked with reception.
