If you have symptoms associated with Coronavirus including a new continuous cough, or a high temperature, or loss of taste or sense of smell, you are advised to stay at home and get a COVID test.
If you have COVID-19 symptoms (a new continuous cough, or a high temperature, or loss of taste or sense of smell) it is reccomended that you do not socialise with others, and book a PCR test. Although all COVID restrictions have been lifted, if you do test positive you are encouraged to stay at home where possible and to not to mix with others through the time you are infectious (between 5-10 days) - especially those at a higher risk of getting more ill with COVID.
If you do have COVID, we ask that you would please avoid attending the practice for routine appointments, and tell us if you have COVID symptoms when you have an appointment.
In order to keep our staff and patients safe, we also ask that you continue to wear a face covering when in the practice and to keep your distance around others.

From Wednesday 15th December certain venues and events spaces will require by law to check all visitors 18 and over are fully vaccinated, have proof of a negative test in the last 48 hours, or that they have an exemption. This means if you are 18 years or over you must show your NHS COVID Pass, or proof of a registered negative lateral flow test (your e-mail or text from NHS Test and Trace would provide this) to gain entry to certain venues.

- A letter which you can get by calling 119

COVID-19 Travel Advice
It is not our policy to issue COVID-19 certificates for international travel purposes, this includes 'fit to fly' letters for COVID-19.

Face covering exemption letters
Government guidance regarding exemptions suggests there is no requirement for an individual to produce evidence of exemption, such as a letter from a GP and therefore should be sufficient for an individual to self-declare this. In these circumstances, it is not a medical reason that requires a written letter from the GP for those who do or do not, fall under the list of exemptions.

GPs will continue to ensure that the healthcare needs of their patients continue to be met in accordance with NHS and Government guidance.
Both travel companies provide journey assistance cards, to help convey if you are exempt from wearing a face covering.

Face coverings to be worn when visiting the practice
It is our priority to ensure that all patients and staff are safe when visiting, or working, in the practice. To minimise risk, we ask that all patients who have an appointment are wearing a face-covering when they come into the practice. The face-covering must cover your nose and mouth.
